Do you realize what you've done?
You have given me hope,
A hope that might never come true.
It hurts soo much, I dont know what to do.
Its squeezing my chest so hard I cant breath,
I never cry.
But when it comes to you-
Even if its a single tear,
It still hurts.
Why-
Why cant it go away,
Its tearing me apart.
So please just make it stop
Before my hopes get too high

if this town weren't so busy
i'd stand on the rooftop of
the tallest tower,
and as the clock strikes
twelve, chiming each hour,
i'd shout your name,
scream your name
until my lungs run dry.
but then the chiming would
end, and i would climb
back down and
cry my heart out,
your name barely escaping my lips
in whispers between each tear.
that's what i'd do.

to hurt and drown out my insatiable
curiosity.
I was the cyanide in your coffee

(though I was the bitter insomniac
and you the more toxic, inflexible one.)
